In the latest years; aesthetics surgery methods have improved remarkably. Many clinics and plastic surgery doctors focused on the breast aesthetics operations. Thus; for every person it became very easy to take this medical cares and surgeries. With the development of medical techniques; breast surgery operations became very simple operation as like as hair transplant operations.

Women opt for this procedure for many reasons. Younger women wish to have the procedure because their breasts may not be as full as they wish them to be. Women who have had children notice their breasts have changed and are not as perky or full. Older women may notice the signs of age and gravity and want their breasts to feel youthful again. And also some problems in the breasts affect the body proportion directly. That means a small problem in breasts; can affect the life of women seriously. Breast surgeries are divided into three major categories according to the needs and desires of the patients. These are:

  • Breast Augmentation Surgery (Silicone Prosthesis),

  • Breast Reduction Surgery and

  • BreastLifting Surgery (Mastopexy).

Is there an age limit for breast surgery?

There is not any age limitation for these surgeries. The best age for breast augmentation is anywhere from 18 to 50 years old.

Breast Augmentation Surgery (Silicone Prosthesis):

Breast augmentation is a cosmetic surgery procedure to increase breast size and enhance breast shape, typically through the placement of silicone or saline breast implants. From a cosmetic surgeon’s perspective, the ultimate goal of breast augmentation is to enhance a patient’s natural proportions and create a more symmetrical, aesthetically pleasing breast profile. The exact procedure is tailored to meet a woman’s individual needs.

There is no “typical” breast augmentation patient, and women choose to have the procedure for many different reasons—having larger breasts is just one of them. Breast augmentation is one of the most effective procedures to correct noticeable breast asymmetry, and breast implants can be used to help correct tuberous breast deformities.

Breast Reduction Surgery:

Breast reduction, also known as reduction mammoplasty, is a procedure to remove excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to achieve a breast size more in proportion with your body and to alleviate the discomfort associated with excessively large breasts (macromastia).

Disproportionately large breasts can cause both physical and emotional distress for patients. Patients with macromastia may experience physical discomfort resulting from the weight of their breasts. The resulting pain can make it challenging for some patients to perform common physical activities. Along with the physical ailments of macromastia, some patients may suffer from emotional distress or more significant mental health problems as a result of their large breasts.

Although breast reduction is often performed to address medical issues, patients who do not have the symptoms of macromastia but are unhappy with the size of their breasts can still pursue breast reduction as an aesthetic procedure. Patients choosing to undergo breast reduction surgery for cosmetic reasons may cite any number of factors, including social stigmas and wardrobe concerns.

Breast Lifting Surgery (Mastopexy):

A breast lift restores a firmer, perkier, and more aesthetically pleasing shape to sagging breasts. This not only can improve a patient’s appearance by restoring her youthful, feminine proportions, but also help bras and swimsuits fit more comfortably and attractively.

By removing excess, stretched out skin, reshaping the breast tissue, and raising the nipple & areola into a more forward position, a cosmetic surgeon can create a more youthful breast contour. Stretched, large areolae can also be reduced during breast lift surgery, creating an overall better proportioned, natural looking breast.

Common reasons women choose breast lift surgery:

  • To restore a better breast shape following pregnancy & breastfeeding: Pregnancy can bring some unwelcome changes to the breasts, often leaving them stretched and sagging. A breast lift, with or without implants, can help undo these changes and restore a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.

  • To improve breast contour after significant weight loss: Losing weight often means losing breast volume. A breast lift can help restore a more proportional, youthful breast shape by removing excess skin.

  • To enjoy a beautiful, perky breast shape for the first time: A small but growing number of breast lift patients have had drooping breasts since their teens. Breast lift surgery can help a woman get the breast profile she has always wanted.
